Rafting
We organize rafting tours on the Olt River, on a 15-25 km long navigable section. Rates vary depending on the length of the chosen route.
We also organize team building programs, in which we offer rafting tours combined with other activities and sports: traditional archery, snow kayaking, kayaking, Ranger ATV (8+1 & 5+1 seater) mountain tours. Rates are negotiable depending on the chosen activities, duration, number of participants etc.

The name
rafting comes from the word "raft", which defines any flat floating structure able to carry people. Rafting is a challenging recreational outdoor sport using a specially designed inflatable raft to navigate a river or other bodies of water. This is usually done on fast rivers or white water, in order to thrill and excite the raft passengers. Rafting is a very dynamic activity, every paddler being actively involved in the steering and propelling of the raft. It's not complicated, it's all about listening to the guide's instructions and acting accordingly!
Route: start in Tuşnad village, down the Olt valley, through Băile Tuşnad spa town, arrival to the Bicsad (Sepsibükszád) reservoir. Length 17 km, duration 4-5 hours.

Kayaking
Like rafting, whitewater kayaking is the sport of paddling a kayak on a moving body of water, typically a whitewater river. The very nature of the water gives this activity it's dynamic and extreme features, where paddlers will find adrenaline, beauty, amusement, friendship, physical challenge and, above all, adventure.
Kayaking can be practiced in any season of the year, depending on the water and weather conditions. Minimal swimming skills are required, after all it's a water sport.
SARA Penision House will provide all the required equipment: helmet, PFD lifejacket, neopren suit, kayak and paddle. After every use, the equpment is cleaned and washed.
