
In order to enrich the recreational offer of our pension house, we recently opened an indoor swimming pool (size 8 m x 3 m x 1,40 m), thus creating the perfect conditions for practicing a wide array of healthy water exercises. In this order, our pension house started a pre- and postnatal program of water exercises for pregnant women.
In recent years, the beneficent effects of pre- and postnatal water exercise programs on the health of the pregnant mother and her unborn child are getting widely recongized and accepted. Water is a perfect meduim for practicing specially adapted excercises during pregnancy, in preparation of childbirth and recuperating after birth.
The benefits of water exercises for pregnant women are:
- increasing of the blood flow in the uterus, a very important factor in the healthy development of the placenta and the fetus;
- greatly easing the returning blood flow to the heart, which in turn helps to stablilize blood pressure;
- alleviation of edemas - the mild water pressure helps the absorbtion and elimination of excess water from the tissues;
- body movement in water is more complex than on land;
- no danger of overheating due to the water's cooling effect;
- water is a great way to relax.
Rates (pool + sauna):
- adults - 50 RON/pers./day
- children - 35 RON/pers./day
